DESCRIPTION:Part 1 (First 1/2): April 13-14\, 2019  \nPart 2 (Second 1/2) October 19-20\, 2019 \nInstructor: Dr. Bahram Jam; PT\, FCAMT \n\nMember of the International Federation of Manipulative Therapists\nCredentialed with The McKenzie Institute International\n\n  \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES \nPart 1 (First 1/2) \nUpon completion of this 2-day program\, the physical therapist will be confident in applying evidence-based clinical assessment & management skills for  various common acute\, sub-acute or persistent shoulder pain syndromes. \n(E.g. persistent impingement syndromes\, adhesive capsultis\, etc.) \nUpon determining the diagnosis\, classification and the potential contributing factors\, physical therapists will be able to administer the most effective treatment / management options including specific exercise / movement prescription\, manual therapies\, neural mobilizations and taping. \n  \nPart 2 (Second 1/2) On October 19-20\, 2019 \nUpon completion of this 2-day program\, the physical therapist will be confident in applying evidence-based clinical assessment & management skills for  various common acute\, sub-acute or persistent elbow\, wrist & hand pain syndromes. \n(E.g. lateral epicondylalgia\, post Colle’s fracture\, carpal tunnel syndrome\, carpal instabilities\, MCP OA\, etc. ) \nUpon determining the diagnosis\, classification and the potential contributing factors\, physical therapists will be able to administer the most effective treatment / management options including specific exercise / movement prescription\, manual therapies\, neural mobilizations and taping. \nCRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE \n\nThis program is restricted to Registered Physical Therapists who are licensed to practice in Canada or internationally\, or PT students awaiting licensing.\nThere are NO prerequisites for this program\, Part 1 is pre-requisite for Part 2\nPrior completion of previous APTEI shoulder\, elbow\, wrist & hand courses is optional\, but NOT compulsory\n\n  \nGENERAL COURSE INFORMATION \nTax Receipts provided on course date / $50.00 is non-refundable / No refunds for cancellations 2 weeks or less before course date \n
