COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, you will be confident in applying evidence-based clinical assessment skills for the classification of individuals presenting with acute, sub-acute or persistent Lumbar pain.
Upon determining the classification and all the potential contributing factors, you will be able to administer the most effective treatment / management options based on the UNIQUE presentation of the patient.
This course will review various manual therapy techniques and the most evidence-based spinal manipulation technqiue with its indications and contra-indications.
Upon succesful completetion of this course, PTs will be able to roster with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario for spinal manipulation if they desire.
All healthcare providers will gain greater confidence in directly addressing the psychological barriers to recovery such as fear, stress, and anger.
