COURSE OBJECTIVES
To provide Physiotherapists with practical theoretical knowledge of lower extremity biomechanics and provide Physiotherapists who do not “specialize in the foot” to be able to confidently assess and treat using effective mobilizations, taping, proprioceptive and muscular control retraining for persisting foot and ankle pain syndromes, including:
Post-trauma, articular restrictions
Achilles Tendinosis
Tibialis Posterior Tendonitis
Plantar Fascitis
Hallux Rigidus / Hallux Valgus
Inversion sprains
CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE
- Physical Therapists who are licensed or who are eligible to be licensed to practice
- There are no prerequisites for this course
