Mobs that Work for Cervical Dizziness

Reference:Reid SA, et al Sustained natural apophyseal glides (SNAGs) are an effective treatment for cervicogenic dizziness. Man Ther. 2008 Aug;13(4):357-66. Epub 2007 Oct 22.

This double-blind RCT looked at the efficacy of Mulligan SNAGs in the treatment of cervicogenic dizziness. Patients received either 4 treatments of SNAGs over 4 weeks or a placebo of detuned laser.

Results: Immediately after treatment, and at 6 and 12-week follow-ups, the SNAG group had clinically and statistically significantly less dizziness with respect to intensity and frequency.

Clinical Relevance: SNAGs (a la Mulligan) had immediate and long-term benefits in reducing dizziness, neck pain and disability caused by dizziness and cervical dysfunction.
