I’m inviting you as my guest to view a documentary film that I’ve helped create.
…the incredible and inspirational real life story of a Thalidomide survivor in New Brunswick.
In the 1960’s, a drug called Thalidomide was marketed to treat morning sickness in pregnant women. The use of this drug by pregnant women led to children being born with missing limbs and sometimes severe life-threatening deformities. More than 10,000 children in the UK, USA, Germany, Australia, Canada, etc. were born with such deformities.
This inspiring documentary is about the life of one of those children, Noëlla Hébert.
It is a powerful testimonial of courage and determination, in which Noëlla recounts her incredible journey through pain, addiction, struggle, and triumph; from (in her words) victim to creator.
