Stand on the STARmat (if you do not have one in the clinic, then either pretend that you have one on the floor or order one).
The STARmat has 12 directions marked on it similar to a clock. Ask the patient to stand on one leg the whole time, reach as far as possible with their toe but float the toes 10cm above the floor.
First reach to 1 o’clock and hold for 2 seconds and return to center, then 2 o’clock, then 3 …until 12 o’clock. It is a great gluteal workout for the WB and the non-WB leg!
