Clicking TMJ? PT Treatment Highly (62%) Effective!

This excellent randomized controlled clinical trial investigated the efficacy of the therapeutic exercises in comparison with no-treatment controls.

The subjects were patients who complained of unilateral reciprocal clicking and were diagnosed as having anterior disk displacement with reduction (ADDWR) by Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Forty-two patients were randomly assigned either to an exercise group or the control group.
