McMurray?s Meniscus Test Validity: Not Good!
Obviously the gold standard for diagnosing a meniscal tear is an MRI and arthroscopy, but how good are physical tests in comparison?
This 2009 investigated the validity and diagnostic accuracy of the McMurray’s test and concluded that generally, the test had variable specificity and sensitivity, based on different studies.
