Novel Isometric Shoulder Exercises

This is a very practical and easy exercise that patients with acute shoulder injuries, post-fracture, adhesive capsulitis can do while driving to and from work or when at a stoplight.

Hold the steering wheel with both hands and

1) Squeeze the steering wheel (Add /MR)
2) Pull the steering wheel apart (Abd / LR)
3) Pull the steering wheel down (Ext)
4) Pull the steering wheel up (Flex)

Hold each direction 10 sec. and repeat 5 times or as tolerated.
