Thoracic Mobs or Manips...That is the question!

There is recent evidence to support the use of manual physical therapy at the thoracic spine in patients with neck pain. The question is if there is a difference in outcomes or potential adverse effects between manipulations and mobilizations.

For this study, 60 patients with neck pain were randomly assigned to receive either thoracic spine thrust manipulations or non-thrust mobilizations.

The patients were re-evaluated 2 to 4 days after the initial examination & treatment.
